Reform Athletica will be offering its Pilates inspired Reform Method classes on the lastest Lagree Megaformer (the “Mega”). The Lagree Method is a multi-faceted workout that combines resistance training and cardio into one comprehensive, balanced system to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body. Balance is created by applying equal focus to all elements of exercise and never prioritizing one facet over another. We believe form is paramount and should always prevail over intensity.
Sebastien Lagree is the inventor of the method as well as the Mega. The method and the Mega work together in harmony, which sets Lagree apart from other fitness philosophies. The Lagree Fitness Method offers a unique twist on traditional exercises such as squats, lunges, planks, and pushups while combining those movements with exercises specific to the Mega.
Varying degrees of spring-based tension allow the Lagree Method to adjust to the user during use. This immediate adaptability creates a tailored experience that is unique to the student. Because of this, Lagree is the ideal method for all ages and fitness levels.
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.
Azraq is Arabic for Blue. They are a non-profit marine conservation organisation registered with the Community Development Authority in the UAE. Their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. Reform Athletica is proud to work with Azraq to raise awareness on the importance of marine conversation and the dangers of over consumption of one-time plastic.
