REFORM ATHLETICA

REFORM ATHLETICA FAQS

Find answers to your most common questions about Reform Athletica, including class information, membership details, and fitness tips.

General & Booking

Classes at Reform Athletica require a paid package. If you don’t want to commit to a full package, we offer single-class passes and a First-Timer 3-Class Taster Package (valid for all classes), so you can explore the studio, try different class formats and decide on the option that best fits your fitness goals and schedule.

Each person must have their own account to book a class. However, you can help friends or family members set up an account or purchase a gift card they can use.

We currently offer class packages rather than memberships. These allow you to build your own schedule of classes when you need it.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to pause a class package once bought. Please refer to our T & C for more details.

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class to avoid losing your credit. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the deduction of a class credit. Please cancel the class using your online profile or the RA app. Do not rely on email or calling the studio.

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist by clicking “Waitlist” alongside the session you wish to attend. Here’s what happens next:

  • If someone cancels before the 12-hour cancellation window, you will be automatically added to the class and receive a notification.
  • If it’s within the 12-hour cancellation window, you will need to manually check if a spot has freed up and book the class.

Classes & Experience

You can wear standard athletic gear (e.g., leggings or shorts and a T-shirt or sports top). For Reform Method and MicroForm classes, you must wear grip socks (also available for purchase at the studio). In RA Strength classes, make sure to put on proper trainers, ones that provide stability and a solid base.

Please arrive about 10–15 minutes before your first class to familiarise yourself with the space, changing rooms and studios and, more importantly, complete your induction. Be sure to let our trainer know if you’re new or if you have any health conditions or injuries that they should be aware of.

Remember to bring a water bottle to class. If you don’t have one, you can buy a S’well bottle at reception—our eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic as part of our sustainability efforts. You’ll find filtered water stations for refills throughout the studios.

Please note that for safety reasons, you won’t be admitted to class if you don’t finish the induction before your first class.

No. We welcome all levels in every class. Our philosophy is that any class can be tailored to both beginners and advanced students. Our instructors give modifications and suggestions for every movement to suit all experience and fitness levels so both newcomers and veterans can train together.

Be sure to let the instructor know it’s your first time; they’ll take extra care to guide you through the process. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early on your first visit for a mandatory orientation without which you will not be able to start your class.

Yes. Every Reform Athletica class is crafted to accommodate all fitness levels. We make no distinction between experience or skill levels—beginners and advanced students are equally welcome.

Our instructors constantly adapt exercises and suggest alternatives to match each person’s ability, so you can join any class and be confident you’ll move at a pace that works for you.

Our classes are intentionally small, capped at 14 people or less. By adopting this boutique approach, we make sure you get undivided one-on-one attention from your instructors and make meaningful progress toward your goals.

That depends on your goals, fitness level and the amount of time you can commit. What matters most is consistency, whether that means two sessions a week or a more frequent routine.

Our class formats are intentionally varied and designed to complement one another—balancing low-intensity, high-intensity, stretching, strength and conditioning—so you can train in a way that supports your flow of movement and recovery and be sure you’ll see steady, sustainable progress.

Nothing beyond appropriate dress and footwear. As a premium boutique fitness studio, we’re fully equipped with state-of-the-art gear, from Megaformers , Microformer machines and TRX suspension trainers to dumbbells, kettlebells, weights, stability balls and more.

For you to train comfortably and safely, remember to bring the right footwear: grip socks for Reform Method and MicroForm and trainers for RA Strength.

To help us all have an amazing experience, please keep the following in mind:

  • All classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. No exceptions.
  • Be on time. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, you won’t be admitted. First-time clients must arrive 10-15 minutes early for their induction. Without it, you won’t be allowed in class.
  • Please avoid talking during class because it can be distracting to others. This includes texting or taking calls mid-session.
  • Phones should be placed in the charging dock stations or kept in your locker during class.
  • No shoes on the Megaformers. Grip socks are mandatory.
  • Towels are provided. Please put them in the designated laundry baskets after class.
  • Cancellations must be made through your online profile or app. Please don’t rely on email or phone.
  • We follow a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 12 hours of class, your credit will be forfeited and there will be no refunds.

Yes, we do! Check out the schedule to find out more. Look for “(Ladies Only)” next to the class name.

Health & Safety

Yes. If you’re dealing with any medical concerns, whether ongoing or recent, please let us know before class. Your safety comes first, and we want to support you in making choices that are right for your body.

Members are asked to confirm they don’t have any health conditions that could be affected by exercise, including but not limited to cardiac irregularities, joint or spine injuries, dizziness, asthma (or other forms of breathing difficulty), diabetes, epilepsy, or allergies. If you’re unsure, we strongly recommend speaking with your doctor before attending.

If something has changed since your last visit, please update us before your next session. In some instances—such as pregnancy beyond the second trimester or cardiac concerns—medical clearance may be required.

We also reserve the right to hold off class participation if we believe your health could be at risk.

If you’re feeling unwell before a class, it’s best to err on the side of caution and stay home. Prioritise rest and recovery, and be sure to cancel at least 12 hours in advance if possible to retain your class credit.

If you begin to feel unwell during class, stop immediately, notify your instructor and sit or lie down if you need to. Listen to your body, and don’t hesitate to take a pause. Our trainers will assist you in seeking medical attention if necessary.

We don’t currently offer postnatal-specific classes, but you’re totally welcome to join any session. Our instructors have experience working with postnatal clients and can offer thoughtful modifications to support your recovery and comfort.

If you have specific postnatal health concerns—like diastasis recti, pelvic floor changes or general fatigue—have a quick word with your instructor before class so they can tailor the experience to your needs.

For more focused guidance, we recommend booking a few personal training sessions where one of our team can walk you through safe, effective postnatal movement. To arrange this, email us at reception@reformathletica.com.

Yes, with a few important considerations to keep you and your little one safe.

  • If you’re new to Reform Athletica and pregnant, we require you to complete an introductory personal training session with one of our experienced instructors. This allows us to assess whether group classes are suitable for you. We generally recommend personal training for our prenatal clients over group sessions to ensure you’re getting the utmost attention and care for your body and baby. To book, please email reception@reformathletica.com.
  • If you’ve been attending RA classes for a while and recently found out you’re pregnant, please inform your instructor and share your due date. You’ll need to be briefed on modifications before class, so please arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of starting time.

A doctor’s note will be required for all prenatal clients after their second trimester.

There’s no upper age limit. Anyone who’s medically cleared and comfortable with the class format is welcome. However, to join our studio as a member, you must be 18 or older or have written consent from a parent or guardian. Children under 16 are also only allowed to attend private classes and must be accompanied by an adult.
