Hi! My name is Hiba Abduljabbar, and no, I am not related to Kareem Abduljabbar, although that would be cool. However, I was on the varsity basketball team, if I must say :)
I am originally Iraqi, but I grew up in Washington DC, USA. I have been living in Dubai for 15 years and have visited every workout studio you could possibly think of as a gym fanatic.
Previously, I was an ABA therapist for young children and worked in a nursery as a principal for many years, but I left my full time job to be an indoor cycling instructor (my passion) which I have been doing for 8 years.
Before Megaformer was “a thing” in Dubai, I used to fly back to the states and visit as many of the Megaformer studios as I could- I would go everyday, sometimes twice a day. The first time I tried RA my heart skipped a beat (not literally) and I fell in love with the studio. Now, I have the opportunity to teach it and I am so excited because I hope I can make someone else fall in love with it as much as I did. I love helping and guiding people, and I cannot wait to meet you!
What to expect in my class: Old school rnb and hip hop , with a bit of new school and a dash of cheeky house and techno mixed in! You will get high energy and routines that flow smoothly together. You will also find me dancing to some tracks or throwing around some jokes to get your mind off the burn! I love building a community and a family vibe and watching my clients get stronger together. Can’t wait to see you in my next classes
