Samantha, is a NYC & Canadian certified yoga instructor, who found her passion for movement early in life as a competitive swimmer. After struggling with some health issues in her twenties she discovered yoga to cope and heal. After witnessing the incredible healing qualities/ benefits of the practice for mind & body, she was keen to know more. Under the guidance of skillful teachers and the lens of her own devoted curiosity her practice has evolved and unfolded, with daily practice for more than 10 years and counting. She began teaching group yoga classes in 2012, after completing her first YTT, and has traveled all around the world teaching, practicing, learning and training. In conjunction with yoga she is also a certified health & nutrition coach. Sam is certified in many styles of yoga including Yin, Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, Ashtanga, Meditation and Strala. Her classes are not only about stretching and doing poses, but also about learning, re-discovering and connecting to your truest self. Sam believes wholeheartedly in the power of yoga to heal the body physically and mentally and is passionate about sharing the practice with others in private or group settings.
