My interest in health and wellness began during my undergraduate studies at Portland State, where I studied Public Health. Fitness has been a major part of my life since childhood - I played basketball for 10 years, and going to the gym was always my favorite “me time.” My career in fitness began as a freelance personal trainer, and shortly after moving to Dubai, an opportunity came up to teach group fitness. Being quite introverted and soft-spoken I was initially hesitant, but I eventually went for it and found my voice and my place in the group fitness space; expanding my background from Strength and HIIT, to eventually being trained to teach the Reform Method. I’ve now stepped back from the teaching side of the fitness world and have been focusing on the behind the scenes work that goes in to help keep the studio running alongside an amazing team.
